MCI manufactures distribution systems to customer specifications from small wall mounted units to more complicated floor mounted or free standing systems. Our distribution units and systems cater up to 3200A with the use of ACB’s, MCCB’s, RCBO’s, RCD’s and MCB’s.
Our power distribution panels are available up to IP66 and stocked in-house, allowing our manufacturing teams to deliver bespoke products at short notice. Schneider Prisma Distribution Board. The Distribution Board is mounted on a free standing stainless steel frame and fitted with lifting eyes. The system contains a main incomer with power indication, power multi-meter, outgoing mcb`s / rcd`s circuits and Power Factor Correction Capacitors with auto controller. Some selected circuits are controlled via P.I.R. Distribution Panel manufactured by MCI Electrotechnics.
440V 3ph Distribution System Utilising Termate Busbar System Rated at 50KA for 1s. The main incomer is located in the LH side of the system with all outgoing circuits on the RH Side Distribution Panel manufactured by MCI Electrotechnics.
MOTOR CONTROL CENTRES & SWITCHBOARDS
MCI is well known and respected within the oil & gas and other local industries for quick turnaround times in the manufacture and installation / commissioning of low voltage Switchboards and Motor Control Centres.
Our switchboards and MCC’s are built in accordance with BS EN 61439 parts 1 and 2, BS EN 60947 standards with fault levels rated to 100kA / 1 sec, an IP rating up to IP54 and a bus-bar arrangement up to 4000amps with front or rear access, top and bottom cable entries or a combination of both can be provided.
The panels can be wall mounted, floor mounted or mounted on free standing purpose built frames, manufactured in mild steel, GRP or stainless steel 304 or 316. All switchboards and MCC’s can be equipped with motor control equipment, instrumentation, and PLC hardware in accordance with customer specifications.

MCI offers a comprehensive range of custom built equipment suitable for Hazardous Areas locations, certified IECEx / ATEX control panels and intrinsically safe products for use in Zones 1 & 2 for the Offshore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical, Marine, Pharmaceuticals, Distilleries, Water and Utility markets.
At MCI we have the facilities to produce a comprehensive assortment of products ranging from junction boxes to complex Zoned IECEx/ATEX Offshore control panels for use in potentially hazardous areas. Our panels are custom built directly to client specifications, and we also have the capability to install, deliver and commission engineering solutions throughout the UK and internationally.
Our IP65 Exd cast alloy EJB enclosures are stocked in-house, allowing our manufacturing teams to deliver bespoke products at short notice. MCI also assembles a range of Eaton Exed equipment with flameproof encapsulated Eaton or ABB components, such as MCB’s, RCD’s, lamps, switches and meters. These are mounted in GRP impact resistant enclosures for gas group IIC for use in Zone 1 & 2 areas that fulfil the requirements of the European standards BSEN60079-0 and BSEN60947 IECEx / ATEX approved.
